Another wonderful collection of poems!
It's always hard to put words to great poetry, but Crow-Blue, Crow-Black goes beyond poetry and makes for the reader a whole, vivid, domain-changing experience. The rhythm and dance of the poems alone is at times lulling and then electric. The words and language themselves create layers of meaning. So that while the poems can be laugh-out-loud fun they are, at the same time, infusing the reader with a subtle yet potent commentary on contemporary society. The author is a risk-taker and that risk spares nothing and asks the reader to be brave, to stand at the edge and look over as Livingston jumps, and invites the reader to do the same. Take the flight. It's worth many many reads. And more.
